Israeli army Shoot Dead Palestinian youth in the West Bank
WWN - Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian near the town of Jenin, West Bank. The shooting took place amid clashes that triggered the Israeli army raids in the region.

Palestinian security sources said, as reported by AFP on Wednesday (07/22/2015), the incident began when Israeli troops raided the village of Birqin, western Jenin. The raids have met with resistance from the Palestinians and the clash was inevitable.

A Palestinian youth, Mohammed Alawneh (22) was killed in the clash. Alawneh hit in the chest and died shortly after being admitted to a local hospital.

While one other Palestinians were identified as Mohammed Atiq was arrested in the operation. After the shootings and arrests, dozens of Palestinians threw stones at Israeli soldiers and met with tear gas and shots into the air.
