Windows 10 "Guaranteed" For 10 Years

Windows 10 "Guaranteed" For 10 Years
WWN - In January, Microsoft said that users of Windows 10 operating system will get support "during the live" device.

The term is ambiguous timescales could lead to confusion, but now Microsoft has clarified his point further.

According to a Microsoft document that summarized from PC World, Windows 10 will continue to be treated to "mainstream support" (new features and tweaks) to October 13, 2020.

Afterwards, Windows 10 will enter a period of "extended support" alias still gets an update in the form of security patches up to October 14, 2025. In a way, this operating system "guaranteed" up to 10 years into the future.

Update for 10 years is going to continue to be distributed by Microsoft directly to the owners of computers with operating systems Windows 10, even if the computer manufacturer in question has not provided support though.

Scheme time support provided to the Windows 10 in line with its predecessor operating systems, namely Windows Vista, 7, and 8.

What will happen once the "extended support" ends? The operating system in question will no longer receive any support at all so endanger the stability and security of the computer, as it did in Windows XP last year.

Windows 10 is scheduled to glide to the platform and tablet PCs on 29 July. Windows 10 Cars for smartphones will follow later.
